Please join Formation Design Group, Twisthink, Audality, and IDSA Atlanta for an evening of networking and a special presentation by Joyce Tan of Airbus.

Joyce Tan, Head of Research & Technology at Airbus Americas, will be speaking about sustainability and sharing Airbus’s future vision for sustainable, efficient, and safe air travel. Formation will highlight our development process while showcasing VR-based mock-ups, and recently completed programs. Food and drinks will be provided! This event is free of charge.

About Joyce Tan

Head of Research & Technology - Airbus Americas Inc. – Engineering

Joyce holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Delft Technical University and an MBA in Technology Management from Open University. As Head of Research & Technology at Airbus Americas, her expertise spans aerospace technology with a focus on sustainability, cabin applications, and aircraft manufacturing.

With over 25 years of global experience with Aircraft OEMs, she excels in engineering and research, specializing in materials, human factors, automation, and autonomous design. Her notable projects include 3D deformable thermoplastic materials, quick-change multipurpose aircraft design, and innovative galley and catering systems.

Within Airbus, Joyce serves as cabin & cargo architect and is active in building a network within the Research and Innovation ecosystem in the USA to make Air Travel Sustainable, Efficient, and Safe.
